Hi! If the only important difference between Skype 5.3 and Skype 5.5 is that Skype 5.5 has better links with Facebook than previous versions, I honestly don't see any reason for me, or for anyone else who doesn't use Facebook, to upgrade to Skype 5.5, unless there are other improvements nobody has told us about. That's just my opinion, though, and, even though I am sticking with Skype 5.3 for now, I wouldn't stop anyone from trying out Skype 5.5 Beta if they wish to do so, whether they use Facebook or not.
