Gate keeper is security setting. go to system prefs and privacy and security the change the setting there. I have mine set to any app even though that leaves me open to attack of someone wanted to do it but if you use common sense you are fine. and if in doubt don’t open the app like if it is an app that seems odd like the app that hacked my skype 4 years ago. For those of you on this list who remember that, gate keeper would have been nice on windows. lol!
