I have a similar, but not exactly the same problem with a
clean install of Mandrake 6.1 and Netscape 4.61. I found
that trying to use the mail tool without a web browser window
open would cause the mail tool to die. No entries in address
book, just POOF! The prolem seems to be far less likely if
I have a web browser window open.
This is just a gripe, but does everyone agree that Netscape
if THE most unstable peice of Unix software they've ever
used? On my Solaris box at work it gives me a bus error
and / or goes zombie almost every day.
