ObLinux: These can run linux now, check SGI's site for details.

I'm planning to go work in the US in a few months, and thus
I'm selling most of my stuff. I thought I'd give you guys/girls
first chance at my SGI Indy, before posting to comp.sys.sgi.marketplace
(where it will sell pretty fast :)

SGI Indy Workstation
21" SGI trinitron monitor
24 bit XL colour
2 x SCSI bootable CD-ROM
8 x SCSI bootable CD-ROM
QIC-150
Internal 1gb & 4gb SCSI-2 HDD

Currently has following CPU and RAM:
MIPS R4000SC-100, 64Mb RAM

MIGHT be upgraded to:
MIPS R4400SC-200, 192Mb RAM
before sale, but this isn't certain.

Mouse, keyboard and Indycam included as well
as IRIX 6.5.x media (x > 2). Currently running
6.5.3 + piles of GNU software.

System need to be sold by May, so no hurry. Current
CPU and RAM give adequate performance, the 4400
is about 3 x as fast, and the RAM upgrade wouldn't hurt
either (6.5 chews RAM). The machine will run linux, but
buy yourself a PC instead if that's what you want.

Any interest? Please note that Sparc 5s sell for less than
Indys and have better linux support, this is really for someone
who is an SGI fan and wants an SGI of their very own :)
