Assuming this isn't just a b0rk floppy, which you seem to have eliminated,
it's pretty certainly due to bodgy RAM. Have you tried turning on all of
the BIOS's POST RAM checks? They sometimes find bodgy RAM.
BTW, I have about 20 1-meg 32pin EDO SIMMs if they're any use to you.
Would gladly swap you for some spare 72pin ones, if you have any spare.
