Although I'm more for asking permission than giving them more
reason to fear Linux, if you put KDE on, they probably wouldn't
even notice face-to-screen!
I'm very much a GUI nerd, and notice things quickly, but I'm still
amazed at a few friends and colleagues of mine who simply didn't
pick anything out of the ordinary!
I threw OpenLinux on a box at work, changed the setup so it looked
as close to Win9x as possible, and no one noticed! Incredible...
I'm shocked at what you guys are coming out with... I went to
Sydney Uni, and hardly ever noticed any NT boxes. The CS bulding
has a room or two of them, and most of the public access rooms are
NT or 9x (to be expected), but I never touched one!
BTW The Arts office kicked and screamed and threatened to shoot the
Dean when the offer to install NT was made... They (thankfully)
still have their Macs, and nice big 15" lcd panels to boot. :)
