We were talking to an SGI guy at one stage - he looked like he'd
seen a ghost. Turns out he was running most of the machines there
as root (including the XFS demo box), and every time someone from
the "unwashed masses" arrived to play "Oooh - SGI! Let's test its
mettle and run... xscreensaver - yeah!" he had a blinking fit...

"Why don't you logon as a non-superuser?"

"Sorry, what? Oh, well, mainly because-- Eh? Dammit, you! No, you
can't play rm -rf /* on this machine! Run away! Run away!"
