The whole point of this list is for people to learn and discuss things about
linux. Wether you know what the person is talking about or not, even simple
things, having them on here has an advantage. I know i had to ask some
pretty lame questions when i first started to use linux.
Moving threads off the list, hey why not just scrap the whole list, it
defeats the purpose of having a mailing list if people cant come on and read
or post anything to anyone and everyone on the list. Have a look at the
replys, i have *never* seen a thread with one person only replying to one
person back and forth, everyone wants to have there 2 cents worth. Okay so
maybe we could be a little more stricter about topics and off topic posts,
and maybe we should cut down email size (ie removing unneeded quotes and
replys), but i say for the sake of the list, dont move it off list,
otherwise the bandwith is going to go from 3gig a month to 300k a month with
2 users.
Thats my thoughts anyway
