Woah... hold up there.
We should be encouraging companies to provide Linux solutions for their
products, not jumping down their throats for it.
I don't like software modems much either, but people do buy them. Some
of these people also want to install Linux and are not at all impressed
when their modem won't work. Until now we've said "go buy a real modem"
but it should be possible for us to say "Yes it will work, although a
hardware/external modem may work better".
