I use a mac to dial in to my linux server. Sometimes it works, sometimes
it doesnt. The mac's diagnostics are uselessly cryptic, although the set
up is exactly the same whatever the outcome. Mgetty log looks like the
first section below when it works, and the second session when it doesn't.
Can anyone suggest a reason?
