No they don't have my loyalty, I find their software generaly does what I want,
yes it does require an enormous amount of resources to do it but it works.
The AntiTrust case was mainly based on the bundling of IE with Windows
than anything else, as well as their attempts to force you to use MS software
with the MS OS. I will be surprised if anything major happens to them. And
like it or not it is Windows and MS that have very much popularised
computing.
Generally I find that other software houses are unresponsive to my needs
and are geared for business users only.
I like and use LINUX as an OS and will even be deploying some older
machines later this year as replacementss for the libararies 'dumb terminals'.
Their software now runs on NT but has a web interface. But it is NOT easy to
manage or understand.
Anyway enough of this discourse I need to do some work!!! :-)
