Apart from the CLUG air net stuff (http://www.air.net.au), I don't
know of anyone else who has taken a system really designed for no
wires in the office and at best, useful in a very open factory and
turned it into an outdoor event. Notice, I leave out the word
successfully as I don't think the CLUG people live on this stuff.
I do have a link somewhere for a mob that are doing microwave ISP
services and that had some links to some commercial aerials.
We are essentially talking about a very low power thing here ( a bit
like expecting that fitting a 1/4 horsepower (max legal without rego
and licence) motor to a bicycle will give you even Niki/Fiat
performance)

On the otherhand, I keep hearing of a story that you can establish a
decent powered microwave link without paperwork, etc, but I can never
get the full story and I'm fairly certain it is a urban myth.
