This is not quite correct.
Firstly, neither Outlook nor Netscape have a feature built in some
of the more powerful mail programs have. These programs (as the one I use)
have the option to reply to the LIST only and they are clever enough to find
out what the list name is (with a little setup).
So I guess it is a MISSING feature in those programs.
If mutt (and others) wouldnt have this fearture you would see the double
replies more often.....
Secondly, there are two philosophies to lists and it is up to the LISTOWNER
to set the defaults (reply address) for the mailing lists. I look after some
mailing lists and I am subscribed to a few. ALL of those have different policies
and thats the way it should be.
So I guess we can come back to the one above and and complain to Netscape
and Outlook about the *MISSING FEATURE*.
