and the other problem with that is all sort of personal
replies end up going to the list cos the person sending it
was in a hurry and didn't check the To line.
Personally I think it's fine like it is. The answer is for
people to edit the To line and change it to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
if they want their reply to go to the list.
But, as you say in your second paragraph, some people are
lazy bastards, so I have a procmail recipe that ditches
duplicate emails:
# look for duplicates
:0 Wh: $MAILDIR/msgid.lock
| formail -D 8192 $MAILDIR/msgid.cache
put it as the first rule in your .procmailrc and you'll never
again get multiple duplicate emails.
