but how is public key crypto going to help you with a disk? are you
going to mail it to someone, so you have to encrypt it with their key
first? (after which you cant read it, unless you start collecting
differently encrypted versions..)
(network stuff certainly (for exchanging session keys), but i had the
feeling this is local..)
plus for a disk, you would want some sort of block cipher, not a
stream cipher, else seeking backwards would suck ;)
