The best thing about GUI's is running lots of xterms!
Following in the distance is viewing html and postscript with gv and
drawing diagrams. Although w3m does a great job of HTML.
One thing I really like is a command line in a GUI. For example newer
version of Explorer under WinBlowze have an area up the top where you can
enter a filepath rather than having to do 15 clicks to get to the same
spot.
