The url referenced was talking about security updates. The theory goes
that you're upgrading *because* you have a problem. Security updates
tend to not introduce new features, partly because they don't want to
introduce new bugs, but mainly because they are stomping existing bugs.
The need to upgrade IMHO is a different topic altogether. I agree
totally that if it ain't broke don't fix it. But my point remains: if
you care about security on your system you will find it *is* broke, and
you need to fix it.
