doesn't seem to work for a single binary file (iso), ie. I did the rsync and it finishes without changing the file. The other iso I was downloading (binary-sparc-1.iso - ie. the US one) has finished (from mirrors.kernel.org) and an md5sum on that matches so I'll have a go with that tonight.
