Peter, have you tried out this software?

Will it let you run applications too?

Is it stable enough to use reliably (not including the instability of
the software being run by it ;-)?

I have a "licensed" copy of M$ Office and I might be tempted to make use
of this for my wife (okay, maybe me too, but only occasionally).
