I'm trying to enable ntpd on RH73, what port do I need to allow in the ipchains for ntpd ?
syslog says this: Nov 12 17:41:28 ntpd[15061]: ntpd [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Apr 8 06:30:52 EDT 2002 (1) Nov 12 17:41:28 ntpd: ntpd startup succeeded Nov 12 17:41:28 ntpd[15061]: precision = 100 usec Nov 12 17:41:28 ntpd[15061]: kernel time discipline status 0040 Nov 12 17:41:28 ntpd[15061]: frequency initialized 0.000 from /etc/ntp/drift but machine's time has not synced as yet, I pressume either my own ipchains blocks it, or, the external firewall, if it was my ipchains, where would that show ?
