Hi, I bought a 'micro star international' FX5200 T128 video card. It has an nvidia chipset.
I'm running Redhat 9, which doesn't recognise the card as such. I believe it doesn't have an nvidia driver with the distro. I've been able to get the card working by downloading a linux driver from a French site, the file is named: pilote_linux_ia32_1.0-5336_linux.run I'm not sure if this is the best driver for the card or if there *are* other drivers, Does anyone have experience with one of these cards? Can anyone point me to a decent, recent nvidia driver. Can anyone recommend a 128 MB card that is *well* supported under linux? thanks, Kind regards, Luke -- ==================================== "when my computer smiles, I'm happy" ===============================.~ ~, Luke (Terry) Vanderfluit |'/'] Mobile: 0421 276 282 \~/` -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
