It was not proposed to the LUGS committee, so we have not given an OK
nor a thumbs down per se.

This is a good question.  slugnet has been a historical term dating back
from late 1992 or so.  Googling for "slugnet" hits us on 7 of the 1s ten.
So, in theory, slugnet would mean this mailing list. Who has the right to
it then?  I suppose the user group and by authority to the exco.  So to
answer Q2, see the answer to Q1.
