While were on the topic of posting style. What should our policy on cross-posting be?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross-posting I agree it makes quite a lot of sense in many circumstances but as LinuxNUS doesn't accept posts from non-subscribers, it is problematic in this case (I just received a bounce on my reply to the other cross-posted thread on bottom posting hence my dropping of linuxnus from the 'cc).
