Well said (btw I have beautiful fonts in KDE 3 konsole/yakuake too). Actually I concur that they are indeed "unstable" in a technical sense, but they are _usable_ practically despite that fact. But whatever the state is, personally:
1) I will _not_ upgrade to KDE 4 until everything works as it did, or better, in KDE 3. 2) I _have_ installed Firefox 3 Beta, because so far I have no problem as I only need it for flash-based sites. It hasn't crashed like Firefox used to. 3) Not even touching ext4, because an FS is a critical component. One filesystem problem = big system problem. Firefox 3 and KDE 4 are alright, nothing serious to lose out on.
