I've tried Lives, and it's a dead-end (pun intended). Kino is a much
better option, except that Kino is not as strong as Kdenlive. My rating
from top to bottom:
1) Kdenlive
2) Kino
3) Pitivi
4) Lives
5) Cinelerra (at bottom because it *looks* powerful, but crashes
before you can get anything useful done)
I know I'm ragging on Linux a bit, but kdenlive is actually *really*
good, and sets itself apart from the rest of the pack by miles.
