Don't forget that 10bT only requires Cat3 according to specs. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Tom Haynes Sent: Monday, June 16, 2003 11:25 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: [smartBridges] We've just about had it
Yes, 10bT runs fine through a screw terminal. It is not as picky as you might think. The last time I repaired a Cat5 coupler I just decided to cut the two ends off and crimp the pairs together with gel filled B-Connectors (Telco product). It works better then it ever has. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Wyoming.com Sent: Monday, June 16, 2003 8:43 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [smartBridges] We've just about had it Has anyone ever experimented with running ethernet throug a screw down terminal? I have never seen it before.
