HEHE I wanted to see that why u no record for a america's funnies home videos :) Well I use 75$ belkin the blue one its not great cable but hasn't failed me yet I don't have any ports dieing as of month 2 of using it, shielded cable down here is too expensive we're talking up to 450$ for 1000 ft I cant afford that sorry :(

Actually, the gel is a water block and it keeps water from wicking along
the pairs if the jacket is damaged.
How would it get damaged? I once watched a woodpecker pounding away on a
tower for 5 full minutes before I banged on the tower and he flew away.
I think he just liked the sound it made when he pecked on it.
