What if I replaced them both with airPoint units? Would that work?   I’ve got almost 50m of cat5 in conduit that I really don’t want to have to replace with RG-6. Please tell me there’s a device in the $500-600 range that will do the job.   I gotta say, I was totally misled by the reseller. They told me, flat out, that the airBridge would perform bridging functions. I’m used to working with RadioLAN products called BridgeLINKs. I saw the pricepoint on the airBRIDGE units and thought I had discovered a far less expensive alternative. Or any wireless router for that matter. How much do you know about wireless networking and 802.11b? This is basic stuff and common to all wireless devices. For that matter, any networking device. You can't connect three or more computers with ethernet cards together without a hub, switch or router of some kind. You would need to install some form of routing software to send the traffic beyond the first computer. You miht give 'Internet Connection Sharing' built in to Windows a try.
