Dan,

Any time that the receiver input becomes " overloaded " there will
be considerable framing/packet errors, if not most all.

Put a dummy load, paper clip or nothing on the antenna output, if
you are not going to take forever to configure the unit and I
can tell you I have never had any of these problems to date.

Pick a brand and model.  Works, for sure, here.

Are any of you managing your power levels?

What I mean is are you turning down the power on your close shots or are
you setting everything
to 30 dBm?

The reason I ask is I recently turned down the power on a few links (set up
before I was hired)
and improved thru put and packet loss dropped.
