FYI - We had another ABO die today....ethernet port...has been in service 7 weeks. Clear skies last night...not weather related. So, the truck roll will cost us several hours plus we have to delay new installs (and much needed revenue). It sucks to be a SmartBridges customer. This makes 6 early failure ABO's in the last month and a half (not counting 5 APPO's).

If I recall, SB has admitted to faulty power supplies being one of the culprits. Why was there not a recall on these? We're swinging in the wind here with these SB's outdoor products. Also, I heard a rumor that SB has admitted to undersized capacitors on the ethernet side of the radios contributing to the dead ethernet port problem (can anyone confirm?). So, if these things are true I'd say a recall of all affected products is in order. Isn't that the responsible thing to do? So, they take a few million dollar hit and wipe out their first and second quarter profits. They'll get it back thru customer loyalty in the coming year. We're finished with outdoor products from SB until I hear new batches of radios are holding up. SB, are you listening? We're all out of spares. Our customers are calling the cable company as I write this.
