Please try to uninstall the airMonitor and reboot your PC, try again. If uninstall doesn’t help, please follow the below guidelines. 

Using Task Manager, select processes TAB and kill “WLM.EXE” file.

browse c:\windows\system32 and delete “Pcandis5.sys” and “W32N50.DLL”

Reboot your PC.

Then remove the aircarte from the slot, start installing the software and it will prompt you to insert the aircarte. Please follow the instructions and accept the default options.

Also in order to use our airMonitor utility, you have to uncheck "Use Windows to configure” options in the wireless network connection – properties.

 

Please try it and let us know the status.

These has to be a Windows issue because we have some Roamabout cards that do the exact same thing.  This has been going on since windows XP was released and I have yet to find a resolution.
