Gee, I can think of a lotta cool stuff I would love to have...

900Mhz - cheap AP AND CPE. Even if the whole thing had 1 to 2 Mbit
throughput, those with tree issues would fall down and kiss yer feet.

OFDM at 5.8 mhz for NLOS capability in urban or city environments.

Backhaul specific products. Inexpensive but fast. It could be just a
transparent bridging product. Something that runs on 12V, plug and play,
with POE and perhaps some kind of proprietary encryption. Won't talk to
anything but the other end. Available in 5.8Gig AND 900Mhz.

Adjustable power on CPE products, clear up to 100 or 200 mw so it will work
close in without anything but perhaps a 5.5 dbi indoor antenna.

Come to think of it, around a 6 to 10 db indoor DIRECTIONAL antenna,
something that sits on your desktop or whatever, is unobtrusive, comes with
1 or 2 meter coax and plug for cpe and indoor ap products.

More power for the APPO and ABO - 20 dbm?

adjustable ACK timing for more stability and throughput on longer links.

Ok, if all else fails, an X86 (intel) compatible single board computer with
64Meg ram, 2 pc card slots, cf card for OS, 1 gig processor for US$85... Oh,
wait, that's my Star-OS dream... sorry, wrong list...

Better receive sensitivity, say - 91 or -93 for full speed...

Ok, enough dreaming, back to reality...
