I'm using them w/o amps. Furthest customer is 7 miles (no LOS beyond that
anyway). They're working great for me ...but I lack the experience to make
any qualified comparison with any other antenna. I'm getting ready to use
a horizontal PacWireless for my next hop. I imagine I'll still be
unqualified to make any comparison. I'm betting I'll plug it in and
.shazaaam.. it'll work. And that works for me.  ;)
