This is a FYI for Smartbridges and not a real complaint.
We recently removed an AirPoint AP from service
while isolating another problem and when we got it back to the office
noticed that it had something rattling around inside. Not wanting to send it
back, we took it apart and found that the metal RF shield covering some of the
components had fallen off. It looks like it was supposed to have been soldered
on but insufficient solder was used. We pressed it back in place and added a few
dabs of solder to hold it.
The Smartbridges people might want to make a note of it for their
inspection department.
