It is derived from base band processor. By default, the MAX_RSSI for
smartBridges radios is 40 and is used for calculation of the Roaming
threshold and other parameters in the operation of the channel. The
different values are also used for RSSI in a relative manner for other
functions. For the purpose of representation, the MAX_RSSI is scaled as
per the Radio to show a percentage value. In doing dBm conversion, the
same would range from -95 dBm to -10 dBm.

This may have been discussed before, but I missed it. Where the hell do
the dBm numbers come from that are reported by the SmartBridges gear.
There is NO WAY some of my links are operating at -17dBm. Anyone from SB
care to chime in here?
