That is all fine and good, but when I plug a 15dbi antenna into my PCMCIA card, and associate to a cell site, MAX dBm I will see is -55dBm if I am VERY close to the tower. Now I throw in a SB radio, it shows -10dBm. That is OBVIOUSLY not correct.
