Okay I have my rts set to I think what someone suggested (1024 I think) and things seem to be good I do notice a LOT less packet loss whats even funnier is I see more RTs and CTS comeing from a less busy access point then the busy one? Should I try lowering it some more?

On RTS what is RTS I know its ready to send clear to send but what is it sending am I actually changing the size of how big of a packet the radio queues up before asking to send to the AP or???
Tryng to explain this to my not so technical partner
OR to make it easier s there a good site you can refer me to so he can learn more?

                 Client          AccessPoint
Packet < RTS     Listen.
                 If clear
                 Send packet ->
                                 If packet received OK
                             <-  Send ACK

Packet > RTS     Listen.
                 If clear
                 Send RTS    ->
                                 If RTS received OK
                             <- Send CTS (i.e., tell all other
                                 clients to keep quiet for x ms)
                 Send packet ->
                                 If packet received OK
                             <-  Send ACK
