Therein lies the "interesting" part of our network. All of the billing, signup, and authentication for dialup and wireless is done through RADIUS from the Commercial Internet Services on Windows NT 4.0. It's the only RADIUS we could find that would work with Microsoft SQL server to allow us to automate everything. Sure, there are half a dozen RADIUS servers out there that you could interface to a Linux box running MySQL, but for those of us that didn't take the time in our youth to learn Linux the Windows RADIUS with SQL Server is suiting our needs for now.
Anyway, there isn't a way to put a custom field in the SQL table that will pass any useful information to the RADIUS server. We'll have to use a separate realm name or something for each speed class of service. [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED], etc..
