I had purchased 30 units around mid June and all of my units have nearly
consecutive MAC addresses. 8 out of 16 deployed so far have shown the
previous symptoms of lost association. I have upgraded all 8 with 5 of
them working great ever since. The other 3 are going to be RMA'd.

A new issue just came up today. I am in the process of burning in
(simpleDeploy) some new units for tomorrow. I thought I would just
upgrade the firmware now to avoid any future issues (yes...I read the
warnings). However, now it is VERY hard to log into the airBridge units
using a difficult password. If you set it to something simple like
"public", then you wont have any problems. But...if you set it to a
good password like "@!Rbridge", then you are going to have problems.

I have burned in 3 units so far in a row where they did not like my
admin password. I have to just keep reentering it 4-6 times before it
will take it. However, it will allow for a reburn (simpleDeploy) or
downgrade of the firmware using the ADMIN password. So...it is not a
matter of typing it in wrong.

I downgraded all 3 units back to .04 and the good (hard) password works
flawlessly. I upgraded them back to the new one .07, and the password
doesn't work.

sB...what did you do to the timing of these units that causes this
problem.

I TRULY believe this is the EXACT problem that I am also having with my
attempts to log into ANY of my wireless clients. Since upgrading the
firmware on my head-end aPPo, I am only able to log into about 10 of my
45 deployed units. I would BET anything that if I downgrade the
firmware on my head-end aPPo, that I would once again be able to log
into my deployed units wirelessly.

Please tell me that you are still tweaking this firmware??
