I would agree to those terms for a good WT, but, I would make them let me
charge the Tax in addition to my price. When your customer base gets sick of
a 2% internet service tax imposed by your city, votes will speak... :)

The station has two 250 foot towers. Two differant AM stations. They are
about 50 feet from each other. I would be going with the local water
tower, bu the city council wants to charge me .02 cents per doller as a city
tax, plus provide them with at least 512k link and $200 bucks a month. The
AM stations is less than 1/2 mile away and is higher on the hill that the
water tower is on!

I stay away from the station towers as much as I can. The massive
quantities of rf can and often do shut our gear down.

By far my most troublesome site is on a radio station tower. I wished then
and do now that I'd have had somewhere else to go, anywhere else to go!
Especially now that they've increased the power on the radio station. Got
400KBps coming in and 70 going out. yuck.

Other systems up there (at ground level rather than up on the tower) will
deliver 250ish out at 12 miles! Grrrrrr.

Stay as low as you can.

Also, please note that I've MOVED this thread to the wisp list rather than
the sb list.

I am getting ready to sign a deal with a radio station. They have a 250
foot tower, I can place equipment anywhere on. However, they run both a AM
and FM station off the top. Will there transmission and me using a omni
cause any ill effects?

Thanx,

Dennis
