This is intelligent PoE device. The input voltage to the PoE device is 48V DC. It will automatically sense whether it is 802.3af compliant device or smartBridges classic device (current product). So for sB classic device, it will dynamically adjust the voltage to between 18-12V according to the cable length sensed.
Sorry you can't use your indoor 802.3af units with sB gear. Our has dual function, for 802.3af compliant (NEXUS) as well as for classic device (current). The pricing will be announced during launch.
