Nicely put however I realized because I read carefully what you said unlike the rest 2 HOLES as in 2 WIRES one for Cat5 and one for electricity hence it's no longer really POE is it or atleast not in the normal sense its cat5 down to base of tower I suppose and then from there its cat5 and elec wire back to the building, more appointed for AP's as I see it but for client's I do not see this as feasible well ok yeah but tahts a lot more cable for us to use on an install if this really is proper how I read it but I could be mistaken, is there a bypass to send the electric over the Ethernet? Or is it a 2 part unit an indoor part and an outdoor part to send it POE 48v to the Outdoor unit that in turn dynamically adjusts power and acts as lighning arrestor that would be the best way as a 2 part unit in my eyes the 2 cable run idea seems a little far fetched and more difficult for our installers but really I like the idea and looks to be promising either way will definitely love to make use of it on all of our pop sites, hmm this brings to mind something else.... Powering those amps outdoors along with the radio outdoors hmmmmm has anyone figured that one out powering radio and amp all outdoors without a nema box?

We believe that due to our focus on the WISP industry, we have developed a industry unique product to provide a complete solution to the problem faced by the WISP. There are many piece meal things available. Some companies focus on 802.3af compliance; some companies develop lightning arrestor, some companies develop CAT5 protectors. While we have tried to look at the complete problem and provide the complete solution.

All our new products will be powered by this device. In addition, we will also sell it as an accessory item to work with our older devices as well as 3rd party equipment.

Developing new and better things is just a natural process in life. Present and Future things should not be used as a yard stick to measure past. Otherwise the entire history of human race will be considered a failure.

SmartBridges, you guys are nuts if you plan to charge extra for this and you know it. It should come with all outdoor units you sell. Also, you should fix the design flaw of the 8" of unshielded CAT 5 coming out of the radio. The grounding solution you mention as one of the new features of the PoE Outdoor should be a standard feature on all units. This is a tacit admission that your current product line is not grounded.

Rebuttals please.
