Huh...now I am stumped. I see that the POE unit is outside. So...if only one CAT5 passes through the wall, how does the outside unit get power?? You cant possibly be using the indoor POE unit to combine the signal and power, then doing it again outside?? Sorry...I am just confused. Oh...and I don't use ANY flush mounts (too much work). I use ONLY the surface mount jacks. I also don't fish anyone's walls. That would cost me too much in subcontractor fees. I run all cable outside, with one penetration point where we put a surface mount RJ45 jack, then a short CAT5 to the router/pc.
