Do any of you know how to make the airbridge work like a real bridge? If this device is a true bridge then it should not be masking the MAC address of the client behind it, with its own MAC address we have spent many days testing 20 of these SB2100's and so far they all do the same thing they act more like a router masking the client behind the device...anyone help?

Transparent bridging over 802.11* requires support for "address 4" (Both the To DS and From DS fields in the MAC header is set to 1). See f.ex. http://www.sss-mag.com/pdf/802_11tut.pdf page 20

Unfortunately, some APs don't have support for "address 4". With these
APs, it is impossible to do transparent bridging for more than one
MAC address per CPE. It is a limitation in the 802.11* MAC layer.

The airBridge is designed as a CPE device that is supposed to work
with _any_ AP.

With 0.09.10 firmware, the airBridge behaves as a transparent bridge
for a single MAC address. Remote management is not supported in this
mode.

With 0.01.04/07 firmware, the airBridge does MAC-level address
translation for IP/ARP/DHCP traffic (07 also supports PPPoE properly).
Remote management is supported in this mode.

If you need true transparent bridging, use an airPoint/Pro in client bridge mode instead.
