NEW issue that we can’t replicate here, we like you to RMA to us directly for
investigation. I am still waiting for someone that can send me an unit that
won’t re-associate without power reset (not the thermal issue or require
to cool down, this has resolve in the latest firmware). Anyone here has those
units (new unit with new chip with latest firmware), please let me know?

RA to them directly is for EMERGENCY when they need to
literally investigate the unit directly right away like when the temp bug
showed up at first and when they had a lack of supplies at the distribs... Now
that the distribs have enough stock and they have enough units to test that
were bad just return it to your distrib and get a
replacement.

Yes, I believe that at one time they did say we could
RMA to them, but now
it appears the story has changed and now we can only
RMA to the vendor we
got the unit from. I am guessing that since
Smartbridges has now
discontinued the APPi they really don't want to deal
with the problems that
still exist.
I can't say that I blame them for not wanting to
invest time and money
trying to support a defunct line of equipment (I am
not thrilled with trying
to do new installs with obsolete equipment), but they
should make some
concession for those of us that have bought radios
that don't work right.
