Alex, Simply because a higher gain antenna has smaller beamwidth. If you wanna cover 180 deg with 3x60* sectorials that will be about 17dB antenna gain per sector. a 500mw amp will add about 10db to the equation. I do not think there is a 27dB gain sectorial Panel at 60* beamwidth.
