Interesting reading Mark.

Now I have seen these radio telescopes before but I am not sure how they
work. If I were to mount a 24Dbi directional antenna inside and ole Cband
dish would that increase my gain?

If it does increase the gain do I still need to be up high or can I now
listen through the trees?

Subject: [smartBridges] Long distance with Smartbridges

I'm curious as to how SB products designated as long-distance, handle the
following issues...

http://www.radio-active.net.au/web/80211/distance.html

Did you make firmware changes or deviate from the .11b spec?

Thanks for any input...
