If this is an aPPT with an external jack, that would be SWEET. That
is...IF it has 2 radios in it.

I would love to use the aPPT to shoot back to my head-end, then come out
of it to an external sector PANEL at my repeater locations. Would save
me from having to mount 2 radios.

I have been asking for this since they FIRST came out with the
"repeater" idea in one box.

I did see the new aPPo with 2 external antenna jacks with 2 internal
radios...but that would require 2 antennas. Still a good solution...but
for ease, I would like to just mount one radio (box) and one antenna.

sB...is that what this customer has in hand??

I haven't seen any of those, yet. That doesn't mean that we don't have
them. It just means I haven't seen it, yet. The only reason I asked if
you had bought it from us, was that if you had, I was ready to swap the
unit for you to do what you wanted if necessary.

I would agree. If it has a connector, you should be able to nail
another antenna to it. I might suspect that you would need to go to the
advanced tab in SimpleMonitor and select the antenna port, though, to
re-route your RF to the correct antenna.

Hi Kevin. No I didn't buy the APPT from you.

This is one of the newer units and it has an external antenna jack. The
documentation says " .... Using a high gain external Omni / Directional
antennas, it can provide range of upto 32 Kilometers and provides data
rates
upto 11Mbps ... " so I am assume that using an external antenna along
with
the integrated antenna is fine.
