I left the Canopy SM's to autonegotiate.  I do not have any SM's that go
directly to Airbridge APPO's though I do have ones that go directly to Cisco
350 APs.   Where I have APPO's connected to Canopy it is through either
Netgear, Linksys, or the Canopy CMM switches.   I have not tried a Canopy SM
directly to a APPO only because that configuration has never come up - I
think it would work fine though I would probably lock the Canopy to 10M 1/2
duplex.
