Hi All,
I'm new to this list, so hopefully it's the right place to ask.. If not,
let me know; I won't take it personally. ;-)

I recently was given an airBrige Outdoor with the external cable cut off
to about an inch left out of the device.. I'm fairly familiar with
wiring standard Cat5, but this will be my first attempt at re-wiring a
PoE device.

I've opened the device and am confident that I can splice on a new
cable, and rewire it through the water seal. My question is what should
the correct order be for the 8 wires in the cable? After 'extending' the
cable, I will essentially be crimping on a rj45 head to attach to the
powershot.

Reading the back of the powershot device, I gather than pins 4 and 5 are
negative, and 7 and 8 are positive.. Unfortunately, internally on the
airBridge board, there is a blob of goo holding down the solder points
for each colored wire... I can't tell which goes where.

I've searched smartBridges website for pin-outs on the device, but no
luck. If anyone has a device and can physically see what orders the
wires are in, I'd appreciate it.

Much thanks,
Aaron Bennett
